Deerfield Beach, FL (PRWEB) July 29, 2011

Debt Management Credit Counseling Corp (dmcconline.org), a non-profit-making charitable organization (“DMCC”), announced today a Partner Program that provides free financial education to employees in conjunction with their employer’s human resources department or employee assistance program. Employers who partner with DMCC will benefit from a custom educational program that will help their employees learn more about managing money and dealing with financial issues. DMCC’s Education Department conducts seminars at the employer’s business location, which are supplemented with workbooks and other free educational materials. In addition, DMCC provides employers custom website landing pages and employee discounts on other available services. This program is a valuable employee benefit that is provided by DMCC at no cost to businesses located in the State of Florida (for businesses outside of Florida, travel cost reimbursement is necessary).

DMCC recognizes that between the housing crisis and high unemployment rates, workers are under an enormous amount of financial stress. Many employers are aware of their employees’ financial status and how the related stress is impacting their company’s productivity. When employees are dealing with personal financial issues (speaking to creditors, discussing financial situations with coworkers and worrying about money matters) during work hours they are not focusing on their job. “DMCC‘s goal is to arm employees with the financial education and tools needed to enjoy a prosperous financial future so that they can concentrate on their tasks during work hours,” stated Jessica Stokes, Education and Research Coordinator for DMCC.

In recent years, DMCC has had much success presenting their free seminars and educational materials to companies through independent providers of employee assistance programs. The DMCC program represents a value added benefit that employee assistance program providers can pass on to their business clients. “DMCC has facilitated exceptional adult learning financial literacy seminars for one of our premier clients over the past several years. The DMCC training staff is professional, accommodating and easy to work with. Many employers may find themselves currently struggling with budgets. At times, employers are faced with cutting or even eliminating their training budgets. The free on-site financial literacy seminars have been a welcome addition to the financial education services that an employer can make available to their employees,” Lindsey Novinich, EAP Senior Account Executive.

Question by Overt Operative: Why do we require public schools to teach sex education but not basic money management?
There is an old adage, “It isn’t important how you make you money. It’s what you do with it that counts.”An ambitious person with common sense, a high school diploma, and basic skills in money management will be much more prosperous in his lifetime than a medical school grad with a drug addiction and an appetite for loose women and fast cars.Education in the USA is lacking in respect to providing basic skills to our children in how to succeed without becoming a member of the rat race of corporate America. Children who do not have college as a goal in their life, or even those who do, should be taught basic money management, credit management, and long term financial planning.Imagine if you were going to play a game of Monopoly for the first time. You open the rule book and it says: The rules have been around a long time. Everybody knows the rules already so there’s no point in printing them. So, just play the game.

Best answer:

Give Children a Financial Education for Christmas

Agoura Hills, CA (PRWEB) November 17, 2005

Money Mama the Smarter Piggy Bank shows children the road to financial freedom. Children get excited about money and love what money provides, but learning only how to spend will set children on a path to financial failure. When children spend as much as they receive, they are learning the habits of living paycheck to paycheck.

Old piggy banks teach children how to save and spend; the new Money Mama the Smarter Piggy Bank teaches children how to set aside a portion of their income for charity, investments and savings and to spend the balance wisely. If children practice the habits of dividing money before they spend, they are learning a secure financial lesson that will help immensely through out their lives.

The priceless gift of an early financial education has many rewards. Not only will children start to learn the importance of funding their retirement, with the award-winning children’s book Money Mama & The Three Little Pigs, they will understand why. Children will hear and see the benefits of saving money, how money grows through investing and helping others. They will understand the benefits of becoming a wise consumer and respect the items they own.

Money Mama the Smarter Piggy Bank is the first award-winning system designed just for children, which teaches them the habits necessary for a secure financial future. Knowing that parents are children’s #1 teacher, http://www.prosperity4kids.com, where Money Mama and the Smarter Piggy Bank can be purchased, also has plenty of resources for parents for teaching their children all they need to know about the fundamentals of money management.

The principles I covered earlier, while key and will assist you in trading? Are the 5 to 6 foundation elements of money management principles. There is much of those principles can be expanded upon, and there can be further discussion and explanations. These explanations will assist you to see more of the underlying strengths of the base principles. In this video, I discuss how Drawdown tolerance is affected by your Account Size, and the need to have a predetermined ‘Drawdown “kill switch”‘. I talk about that, in the following vlog entry which will be included in my “Money Management Playlist” … NOTE: This is not an investment or trading recommendation. The losses in trading can be very real, and depending on the investment vehicle, can exceed your initial investment. I am not a licensed trading or investment adviser, or financial planner. But I do have 13 years of experience in trading and investing in these markets. The Challenge accounts are run for the education of other traders who should make their own decisions based off their own research and risk tolerance

George

The Blog Entry that Accompanies this Vlog is at: investorandtrader.blogspot.com My Daily Blog is at: investorandtrader.blogspot.com My channel at BlogTV is: www.blogtv.com My Podcast is at: airelon.podbean.com and embedded in the daily blog. The reason we trade, is to make money. The reason we make money, is to have an income. So what are reasonable expectations when it comes to trading? What sort of income can you expect? What should you remember when you hear that a trader had a $2500 trade? How much money should you take home to live on? I offer my experience and thoughts on the subject, in the following vlog . . .NOTE: This is not an investment or trading recommendation.

Sue

The Blog Entry that Accompanies this Vlog Entry is at: investorandtrader.blogspot.com My Daily Blog is at: investorandtrader.blogspot.com My channel at BlogTV is: www.blogtv.com Why keep track of your drawdown? After all, we just want to trade right? You just want to focus in on the reward, whether it be from the Forex, Commodity Futures, or Stock Markets, right? Drawdown assists you in understanding the worth of a system or method as well. If the person offering the system refuses to talk about the drawdown numbers of that system? That’s a good indication it’s a scam and highly overrated. If the person offers you a system or methodology and talks about drawdown – this lets you know that the system has verifiable merit that you can test. But what does drawdown tell you about your system, and how you should adjust the rest of your money management strategy? We discuss that in thefollowing vlog entry … NOTE: This is not an investment or trading recommendation. The losses in trading can be very real, and depending on the investment vehicle, can exceed your initial investment. I am not a licensed trading or investment adviser, or financial planner. But I do have 12 years of experience in trading and investing in these markets. How do we take everything we’ve discussed thusfar in regards to Money Management Principles, and putting them in an easy to read format? We discuss that in thisvideo . . . NOTE: This is not an investment or trading recommendation. The losses in trading can be very real, and depending on the investment vehicle, can exceed your initial investment.
